I acknowledge with gratitude that I live and work on the unceded territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) peoples, known today as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations, as well as the W̱SÁNEĆ (Saanich) peoples.

I also recognize that the field of psychotherapy has roots in Western, colonial worldviews that have often overlooked Indigenous, communal, and non-Western ways of healing. My work is guided by an intention to decolonize therapy—by centering relationship, cultural humility, and collective well-being over hierarchy or pathologizing difference.
